In year 2001, Ford Company introduced a new version, the Explorer Sport Trac, which was basically a pickup with 4 SUV doors.
Changes have been made to the Ford Explorer. It now sports a more robust base, power-folding 3rd row seats, reworked rear suspension and new interiors. Also in this auto is electronic stability control and tire pressure monitoring system. Plus, it has power running boards, which retract whenever the car is moving. Its base engine is a 4.0 litre 219 hp V6 base engine. It has a developed fuel usage, interior quietness, bolder style, more recent technologies, improved comfort and lower emissions.
